The young voters dilemma has been at
a high these days. The elections are here, and as asked by everyone the voters are expected to exercise their right to vote and choose a representative. But as simple as it
sounds, its an extremely difficult task. For today's India is known by its
dominating youth population who are going to exercise their very 1st voting
right. If you ask them what sort of representative would they prefer its not
for everyone to know what an ideal leader will be,hence they choose to go by
the flow. The flow assures a better administrative control on the weak links of
the nation. But the current flow too assures to change the governing techniques and help the
nation. As such a new flow too wants to join the mainstream and take part in
changing a nation of billions. But the real problem is that all the'flows' seem
to be very promising yet there's a chance of huge disappointment that lies ahead.
Now let's see the situation of the
voters of this largest democracy in the world. They do know what they want but are not sure who will do it. There's a lot to expect
from the politicians or the ruling party who also happen to be as human as the
voters. The fact that they are no less human brings us to a question, "Are
we expecting too much from them? Is it possible to achieve that dream India
that is right down from the dreams of our freedom fighters??". But then
another question that strikes is " if it could happen 67 yrs back, with
so less developed facilities why not now?".
No,the expectations of the voters from their representatives are
correct and acceptable on all grounds. Its understandable that with a
population of billions its not easy to reach and know the problem of every
person. But the problems are the same in some or the other way. All the people
expect that the governance should be ethical, clean and respectable on all
levels of hirarchey of the government.
We are ready to take up the responsibility to elect the correct
people. Today's voters situation is similar
to king Dhritrashtra who could now get over wrong and right. But the
right does not seem to exsist any more today. We are about to make a choice in
the better and acceptable wrong & afterall expect to have an India free of
corruption, female-foeticide,red -tapisim,illiteracy,caste,creed
barriers....and emerge as a strong and undefeateble nation...as the nation of
the people,by the people, for the people...!!!
JAI HIND...!!
